Abby is a very nice doe with a nicely attached udder and very easy to milk teats. Unfortunately because we found out her sire was a G6S carrier she was tested and is a G6S carrier. We will be banding all of her buck kids and testing all of her daughters. We will be keeping a G6S normal daughter from her and only normal daughters will be available for sale. Abby has an awesome temperment and ears to die for! Her dam was an outstanding milker with a beautiful udder and very good orifices, which made her a joy to milk. Abby has definitely followed in her footsteps!
She won her first grand champion in 2010 and I'm hoping she will win some more later!
Abby was dry on one side of her udder because of mastitus in 2011.Because she was still milking a gallon a day out of the half udder I did keep her in milk all year. So she was shown with half and udder. So here is her show record for 2011:
